AVF Jewelry is the brainchild of Alicia Van Fleteren, who works out of Northern California. The artist uses international inspiration, collecting stones and raw materials from around the world to feature in her pieces (like the peruvian opal necklace seen above). There is a dab of elegance and simplicity to her presentation, paired with a ‘bohemian edge’ emphasized by large, center-piece stones. AVF is great for intergenerational appreciation, with some of the larger pendents possessing that ‘straight fromt he festival’ feel, while more delicate and understated pieces would make for a perfect gift for mothers and grandmothers who may remember Woodstock, but are not trying to relive it.
